Where artificial intelligence forms part of our work, the following applies:

• Where an AI agent is corresponding with you, its signature identifies it as an AI agent and links to this policy
• If you would prefer a person to handle your enquiry, tell us and we will arrange it
• Specifications, quotations and compliance confirmations are checked by a competent person before we issue them
• We request that the AI services we use do not train their models on your information
• We do not put your information into free or personal AI accounts
• Prices and commercial terms are set by people
• A person at Protos remains accountable for material produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence

Artificial Intelligence in Correspondence

Artificial intelligence assists us in handling enquiries and correspondence, and an AI agent may be the sender of a message you receive from us. Where that is the case, the sender's signature identifies it as an AI agent and links to this policy.

If you would prefer a person to handle your enquiry, tell us and we will arrange it.

Your Information and Confidentiality

Where your information is processed with the assistance of artificial intelligence, we use business accounts with established providers. At the time of writing, these are Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT). Our Privacy Policy holds the current list of the services we use and the purposes for which we use them, and should be treated as the authoritative record.

We request that these providers do not use your information to train their models. We do not put your information into free or personal accounts.

Commercial and design material is treated in the same way as correspondence. Any confidentiality agreement in place between us continues to apply where artificial intelligence assists in our work.

Specifications, Quotations and Compliance

Artificial intelligence assists us in drafting, summarising and research. It is not the authority for anything we tell you.

Specifications, barrier and migration properties, food contact and regulatory compliance statements, quotations and delivery commitments are verified by a competent member of our team against supplier and test data before we issue them, whether or not artificial intelligence has assisted in preparing them.

Prices, credit terms and commercial decisions are made by people.
